About this holiday rental

This small manor house is located in a secluded, peaceful setting within walking distance of the centre of Salernes 1 km along a country lane, there you will find a charming Provencal square and a good range of shops, bars and restaurants as well as pottery galleries.

Villa accommodation on three floors covering 500 m² for 13 people, 7 bedrooms, 7 bath/shower rooms, satellite television, wifi.

The ground floor has a very spacious, comfortable living room and dining area along which opens to the garden and pool area. Fully-equipped open plan kitchen (with twin oven of which one is steam, large electric hob, two refrigerators, coffee maker, dishwasher etc.). Laundry room with washing machine. Wine cellar in the basement. Guest toilet. Access to lift which services the first-floor single bedroom.

The first floor is accessed via a beautiful staircase and there is a single bedroom (1 x 90 cm wide bed) with lift door in the bedroom itself (designed for wheelchair access to the bedroom only). Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. Double bedroom (1 x 140 cm wide bed) with en-suite shower room with toilet. Large master double bedroom (1 x 180 cm wide bed) with views of the pool and en-suite large bathroom with over-bath shower, twin sinks, shower stall and toilet and a door leading to a huge balcony terrace with comfortable seating, chairs and table. Another large double bedroom (1 x 180 cm wide bed).

The second floor has a large shower room with sauna. Good sized double bedroom (1 x 160 cm wide bed) overlooking the pool. Huge double bedroom (1 x 180 cm wide bed) overlooking the pool. Shower room with toilet. Twin bedroom (2 x 90 cm wide beds) overlooking the rear garden.

The enclosed 5000 m² landscaped child-friendly gardens are delightful, adorned with mature trees including cypress, walnut, fig and pomegranate along with a decorative fountain. The eight-metre-long private swimming pool is complemented by a superb summer house which has a useful shower and toilet, there is also a sink, barbecue and clay pizza oven. There is almost complete seclusion with just one side of the garden away from the main pool area overlooking a neighbouring property, in no way is the main garden area and pool overlooked.

There is plenty to do in Salernes where children enjoy the river, there is some lovely walking too and the pottery museum is very interesting. You can drive to the coast in around just under an hour as well as visit places like Carces, Tourtour, Entrecasteaux and Lorges. Don't miss the Gorge du Verdon which has excellent whitewater rafting and the Lac Saint Croix for a more leisurely ride into the canyon on a pedalo.

NOTE: There will be a heated pool from the beginning of April 2019.
