About this holiday rental
Converted mill house which has been fully restored retaining the original architecture. Located in the village of La Joya, near to Antequera 16km, Malaga 45km and Grenada 116km. The El Torcal nature park is easily accessible from here.
The upper floor has a large living room with fireplace and a kitchen with dining area. Double bedroom (1 x 140cm wide bed) and a further double bedroom (2 x identical 90cm wide beds together). Single bedroom (1 x 90cm wide bed). Three bathrooms.

Each floor has access to a large patio and the large pool.

The price includes :
Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Local taxes (unless specified otherwise in the villa description), reasonable consumption of services including water, gas and electricity (not including heating). Garden and swimming pool maintenance. Linen provided (bed sheets and bath towels) changed weekly. Change-over day is Saturday, arrival time 17.00 – 20.00, departure by 10.00.
The price does not include :
Refundable deposit -100€ cash paid locally. Heating for the house. Additional services (where available) including cleaning (9€ per hour), babysitting and cooking. The villa must be left as found.
Depending on the country, region or city, you may (or may not) be asked to pay a tourist tax directly on site by the corresponding owner. The amount varies widely from country to country, from 1 euro per day per adult over 18, up to an amount that can vary from 1 to 10. These amounts are indicative and do not depend in any way on Villas du Monde.

The property was good, but as it doubles as a b&b, downstairs had an odd layout, but it's quirky and could have done with more seating and large pans, especially for the size of the villa.
La Joya is a great place, lots of peace and quiet and the pool is a bonus, lovely taverna and bakery and the shop had enough stock.
All problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Plenty of places to visit but definitely need a car! Lobo Park and El Torcal were amazing and well worth a visit and Antequara is lovely.

The holiday rental house corresponded to the description, hospitality and service, nothing to say. The only downside is in the kitchen: no dishwasher, no coffee maker. The utensils are suitable for a rental of 5/6 people but not for 12 (2 small saucepans, 2 small pans, only 1 bowl, 11 forks) it´s a shame because with a little investment it would be perfect. In addition we got mice in the kitchen The holiday will give us good memories.
