Main house
The second floor has two double bedrooms (1 x 140cm wide bed in each). Shower room with toilet. Small single bedroom (1 x 90cm wide bed) and a bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. In the corridor leading to the single room, there is a further single bed (80cm wide).
The first floor has a gallery. Master double bedroom (1 x 160cm wide bed) with en-suite bathroom which has a steam room shower and fitness equipment. Separate toilet. Two double bedrooms (1 x 140cm wide bed in each). Bathroom with shower and toilet.
The ground floor has a sitting room, then a further living and dining room with the sitting area on a gallery. A conservatory with billiards table. Fully equipped kitchen and a boiler room with washing machine. Two toilets - cloak rooms with wash basins. Access to a covered terrace for outdoor dining and relaxing in the shade, which also has a spa for up to four people.
Bread house
Double bedroom (1 x 140cm wide bed). Bathroom with shower and toilet. The second bedroom with a single bed and a further pull out single bed.
The barn
Fully equipped kitchenette and sleeping area with a double bed (140cm wide) and a bathroom with toilet.
The house has a good deal of character from the stone walls to wooden beams, the light, an enchanting ambience of the billiards room, it's perfect for a relaxing holiday for a large group. There are four televisions in all as well as 3 satellite boxes and a DVD player. Also, there is a high chair in the kitchen and a baby cot (no linen) in the first-floor main bedroom.
Outside there are five patio areas, one by the large heated pool has a number of pool loungers of which some are teak with cushions. Another wooden patio has two large teak tables and chairs along with parasols, ideal for outdoor dining using the two barbeques and enjoying the view of the citrus fruit trees in the grounds. One has a table tennis. Another in front of the house has a stone table and chairs overlooking a fish pond (unprotected be careful with small children). There is a store house which also houses bicycles which are available to guests (used at own risk) 4 adult bicycles, one children's bicycle (under 10 years). No seats on the bicycles for babies. In all, there are 5 hectares of private grounds which include tended the garden, fruit orchards, prairie and woods.
This is an excellent base for visiting the chateaux and rivers of the Dordogne region where you can enjoy walks, canoeing and cycling as well as visiting the numerous pretty villages where you will find many well-priced restaurants serving delicious food.
In the village of Corgnac sur l'Isle there are grocery shops, a baker and a butcher. In Thiviers 5 km there is a choice restaurants and a range of shops. Lascaux cave in Montignac 40 km. The Ribières rope park at Bussière-Galant 28 km.
