Located in the Occitanie region of southern France near Castre at the foot of the black mountain this big beautiful property has plenty of charm, a big private fenced pool and a very nice child-friendly garden. A day at the beach is perfectly feasible as those of Valras and Cap d’Agde are 75 km and the Cathar’s cities are easy to visit too.

Villa accommodation covering 400 m² all on one level for 10 people, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, satellite television, wifi.

The house has a comfortable living and dining room with large windows allowing you to enjoy the pleasant views of the garden and mountains beyond as well as a television and reading area by the fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, induction hob, refrigerator etc.). There are five double bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The refined interior decor offers a comfortable relaxing atmosphere and the combination of modern and antique along with comfortable furnishings works very well.

The beautifully kept grounds cover 2500 m² and there is a twelve-metre-long swimming pool which has a child security fence and loungers for relaxing. There is a summer kitchen with sink and barbecue by the pool and a number of patio terraces where you can eat outdoors.

In a wonderful setting which you can savour by the pool or in the house or wandering along the quiet country lanes, you probably won’t want to leave.

There is plenty to do in the area and the old citadel of Carcassone, as well as the cathedral at Albi, are both UNESCO sites. There is also the Goya museum in Castres. The Sidobre natural park offers plenty for nature lovers. There is a magnificent golf course at La Barouge which is one of the oldest in France and a very good tennis club you can use as well as a highly reputed riding centre at Bonnery.

The security deposit of 2000 payable in checks or cash will be provided on the day of arrival and returned at end of stay.
