About this holiday rental

Fabulous air conditioned, luxury villa with garden and fenced private swimming pool. The superb converted mill is located in the Balagne region of northern Corsica in the village of Lama, rated as one of the prettiest villages in the area. The village of Lama is around 2 minutes drive. Calvi 35 minutes in the car, around 15 km. The Lozari beach and the ile de Rousse are around 15 minutes drive.

The upper floor has four double bedrooms of which two have bathrooms and one has a shower room. Please note that the fourth smaller bedroom has a small double bed 120cm wide which most would only use as a single bed.

The main floor has a very spacious living and dining room (90m²) and a superb kitchen which has been fully kitted out new recently. Further sitting room and a summer dining room.

The garden floor (which is independent) comprises two studios (each with its own entrance, they are not interconnected) with a double bed and two single beds, each with a bathroom and separate toilet.

The old Moulin has been very tastefully converted into luxurious, comfortable holiday accommodation. There is air conditioning throughout except in one of the bedrooms which are generally a good temperature due to its proximity to the river. There is wi-fi internet connectivity.

The garden is beautiful with olive trees adding to the overall charm. The large pool is fenced and gated for child security. The river on the grounds is gentle and not dangerous for children although obvious care must be taken.

This is an excellent area for walking and a climb up the mont Astu is a favourite with the locals.

This is an exceptional property for a truly memorable holiday in northern Corsica.

The price includes :

Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Local taxes, reasonable consumption of services including water, gas and electricity during July and August. Garden and pool maintenance.

The price does not include :

Refundable deposit payable locally in cash 1000€ also credit card details retained as further security for maximum withdrawal of 2000€ in the case of damages. Linen, towel hire (not beach towels) and final cleaning charge payable locally 200€. Heating for the house and firewood. Additional services (where available - ask for details) including cleaning, babysitting and cooking.

Depending on the country, region or city, you may (or may not) be asked to pay a tourist tax directly on site by the corresponding owner. The amount varies widely from country to country, from 1 euro per day per adult over 18, up to an amount that can vary from 1 to 10. These amounts are indicative and do not depend in any way on Villas du Monde.
