About this holiday rental

Luxury, air-conditioned, south facing villa in an exceptional setting overlooking Porto Vecchio bay. One of five highest quality villas sharing a uniquely beautiful swimming pool with Jacuzzi and steam room. Located 1.2km from Cala Rossa, 5km north of Porto Vecchio. The nearest restaurant is 500 metres walk as is the nearest shop. Within 2km there is The Beach restaurant and private beach with sun lounger hire as well as the gastronomic Rancho restaurant. Tennis and boat hire 1.2km. Figari airport 22km. Bastia airport 155km.

The upper floor has two twin bedrooms (2 x 80cm wide beds in each). Two shower rooms and toilets.

The ground floor has a comfortable living and dining room with television, which is light and airy and accesses the terrace (40 m2) overlooking the pool and sea. Open-plan, fully equipped kitchen with bar. Double bedroom (1 x 160cm wide bed). Shower room and toilet.

Each bedroom has a television and all the beds can be adapted to form either 160cm wide doubles or 2 x 80cm wide singles (let us know what configuration you require). Overall this is very high quality, modern accommodation. It was new for 2010. Décor is very smart and furnishings are top drawer.

The pool area and terrace are quite stunning. Each villa (we rent all five, which are practically identical, same style of furnishing, decor and fittings - one is adapted for wheelchair access and also has a bathroom) has its own enclosed garden area with a small lawn and large terrace overlooking the sea. There is a lockable gate giving access to the communal pool area, large shared lawns, the sea and small beach, which is ideal for families with small children. The villas, arranged in a crescent, are set in such a manner and divided by vegetation so that each enjoys satisfactory privacy. There is wi-fi internet access.

The large pool area is wonderful for relaxing and the small beach beyond is rarely occupied by anyone other than occupants of one of the five villas as the only other realistic alternative access is by boat.

Each house has parking space for a number of cars. Services of a chef and cleaner can be arranged on request for a supplement payable locally. If you require a chef let us know as soon as possible as the earlier we can make arrangements the better as it can often help obtain a better cost.

The price includes :

Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Local taxes (unless specified otherwise in the villa description), reasonable consumption of services including water, gas and electricity. Linen and towels provided (not including beach towels). Garden and swimming pool maintenance.

The price does not include :

Refundable cash deposit €500 payable locally. Credit card details retained to cover potential damages with a limit of 1500€. On request for a supplement of 500€, payable locally, each day the villa will be cleaned and the linen and towels changed. Heating for the house and firewood. Additional services including cleaning, babysitting and cooking (careful as catering can be very expensive particularly at short notice).

Depending on the country, region or city, you may (or may not) be asked to pay a tourist tax directly on site by the corresponding owner. The amount varies widely from country to country, from 1 euro per day per adult over 18, up to an amount that can vary from 1 to 10. These amounts are indicative and do not depend in any way on Villas du Monde.
