About this holiday rental

Situated in north-west Portugal near the historic town of Ponte de Lima in the Minho region this remarkable property dates back to the 17th century, modernised, it has a private heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and a private tennis court. A section of the main house is closed off and for the occasional use of the owner who does not have access to the pool or main garden areas which remain for the exclusive use of guests.

Villa accommodation covering 500 m² comprised of the main house and two annexes, for 23 people, 10 bedrooms, 10 bath/shower rooms, billiards, satellite television, wifi.

The property is full of charm and whilst it retains many original features it has been very well restored to offer modern comforts, it is ideal for a group of friends or family particularly for a special occasion holiday.

Main house
There are a spacious living and dining room, five bedrooms and five bath/shower rooms, a number of which overlook the vineyards and garden.

The first annexe

Covers around 250 m² and has a spacious living and dining room along with a large fully equipped kitchen. Five bedrooms and five bath/shower rooms.

The second annexe

Has a big games room with a billiards table and table football. Pool room with an eight-metre long pool which can be heated for a supplement of 350 euros per week, dressing room, shower and toilet.

The vast grounds cover 5000 m² and there is a tennis court for your private use.

Local shops are around ten minutes’ walk and there is a very nice riverside beach just ten minutes by car. Ponte de Lima is around seven minutes’ drive, it is famous for its festivals, its architecture and marvellous restaurants. Porto 80 km. You can also discover Ponta de Barca, Arcos de Valdevez, Barcelos, Carminha and many delightful small villages.

There is plenty to do, be sure to visit the highly reputed wine areas and try out the delicious local food.

NOTE: The price shown is for 20 people. Additional persons up to 23 people 150 euros supplement per week each.

The price includes :

Bed linen and towels.
Final clean.

The price does not include :

Security deposit: 2500 euros

Pool heating: 500 euros/week.
Heating the house (if required): 350 euros per week.
For over 20 people: 150 euros per person per week.

Depending on the country, the region or the town, a tourist tax can be applicable, which is payable either on-site or before your departure. The amount will vary for an adult between 0.50€ and 2.50€ per day. Depending on the local administrations, the exact amount is often known only late on and occasionally it can rise between when you make your reservation and the day of your entry in the property.
