Impressive, modern luxury villa set in a wonderful location on the southern tip of Sicily, Portopalo di Capo, commanding stunning, uninterrupted views of the sea. The property comprises a main house and annexe. The nearest sandy beach is 1 km and local shop and restaurant just 300 metres walk. Bank and more restaurants 600 metres. Golf 40km. Syracuse 50km. Pozzallo 40km. Catania airport 115km. Noto 20km.

The house was designed by a local architect and it shows. The light elegant rooms are furnished and decorated in a tasteful minimalist style and the walls are of local stone allowing the house to integrate entirely into its cliff top, seaside setting.

The main house ground floor has a spacious living and dining room and a fully equipped contemporary, open-plan kitchen. Bathroom. The upper floor has a double bedroom with en-suite shower. Further double bedroom and a single bedroom (1 x 90cm wide bed). Shower room.

The annexe apartment has independent access and is on the ground floor, it comprises a living area with sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom (2 x 80cm wide bunk beds). Shower room with toilet.

There are a number of terraces,  both covered and open where you can relax, dine and enjoy the views of the sea and the Capo Passero island.

This is a peaceful spot for a holiday base from where you can explore the sights of southern Sicily including the beautiful towns of Syracuse, Modica, Scilue and Raguse.

The price includes :

Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Final clean. Local taxes, reasonable consumption of services including water, gas and electricity. Linen and towels (not beach towels) provided. Garden maintenance. Saturday arrival 14.00 to 20.00, depart before 10.00.

The price does not include :

Refundable deposit 500€ (or equivalent) payable locally. Additional services (where available) including cleaning, babysitting and cooking. House heating. If electricity consumption passes the allocation of 300kw/h per week the extra is paid locally at 0.40€ per kW.
Tourist tax : If applicable by the municipality

Depending on the country, region or city, you may (or may not) be asked to pay a tourist tax directly on site by the corresponding owner. The amount varies widely from country to country, from 1 euro per day per adult over 18, up to an amount that can vary from 1 to 10. These amounts are indicative and do not depend in any way on Villas du Monde.
