Homely villa set in a very peaceful completely secluded “Domaine” of several acres with a fenced swimming pool and exceptional panoramic views. Shops and restaurants in the beautiful hilltop village of Bonnieux 2km. Avignon 45km and Apt 15km. Ideal for multi-generation family groups and in low season it is popular with pianists.
Villa accommodation covering 250 m² on 2 floors (divided into two wings) for 10 people, 5 bedrooms, 3 bath/shower rooms, satellite television, wifi.
The upper floor west wing has two double bedrooms (1 x 140cm wide bed in one and 1 x 160 cm wide bed in the other), shower room and a toilet. The east wing has a double bedroom (1 x 140cm wide bed) and a twin bedroom (1 x 90cm wide bed and a single put you up bed). Shower room and toilet. All the bedrooms have magnificent views of the countryside. Each separate upstairs wing has its own stairs.
The ground floor has an entrance hall and guest toilet. Fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, gas hob, fridge/freezer etc) with preparation island with sink and superb views of the village of Lacoste and the countryside, dining area opening onto a vine-covered terrace where you can eat outdoors and enjoy the magnificent views of the Luberon hills on one side and the Mont Ventoux on the other. Veranda with sitting area and lovely views of the garden and the hills, large living room with comfortable seating, library, fireplace and baby grand piano (1930 Pleyel, Paris which is tuned) opens via patio doors onto the garden. Two steps to a double bedroom (1 x 160cm wide bed), bathroom and toilet. The ground floor is light and airy with a wonderful outlook to the south on the garden, pool area and countryside.
The layout of the house is ideal for a multigeneration group, with two families with children each using an upstairs wing and the grandparents using the downstairs bedroom, everything interconnects on the ground floor.
The huge grounds cover 4000 m² and offer plenty of open space where children can play and adults can relax as well as shady areas for reading. There is a lovely ten-metre long pool with wide steps for easy access which is safely fenced with a security gate for children’s security, sun loungers and pool house with a table tennis. There is a gas hotplate 'plancha' for grills and plenty of parking space at the entrance. The north side of the garden is nice for sitting out as well.
A spa is installed near the swimming pool. It can only be used in low and medium seasons with an additional electricity supplement (pre-booking required), depending on the use. This spa is not usable in July and August.
There is a small vegetable garden available (depending on the season) with tomatoes, courgettes, basil and some seasonal vegetables.
The combination of the peace and seclusion, unbeatable views, architect designed homely villa set near one of the jewels of the region, the village of Bonnieux in sunny Provence, with lavender fields, vineyards and mountains and villages to explore, is a very appealing one.

Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Linen and towels (not beach towels) provided. Final clean and 5 hours cleaning per week included. Refundable deposit payable locally 500€ (or equivalent) in cash and card details retained for further 2500€ if required in the event of damages. Heating for the house and firewood. Additional services (where available) including cleaning, babysitting and cooking.
