The house has the original thick stone walls and covers 213 m² of living space on two floors and accommodates up to 8/10 people, 6 bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms, high-speed wifi internet. Near river.
The ground floor (which has under-floor heating) has a spacious, light and airy living and dining room with fireplace and access to the garden terrace, it also benefits from lovely views of the countryside. Open-plan, modern, fully equipped kitchen (with oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker...). Shower room with walk-in shower and separate toilet.
The upper floor has a west facing double bedroom (160 cm wide bed). A further double bedroom (1 x 160 cm wide bed) which is south facing. Another south facing double bedroom (1 x 160 cm wide bed). A north facing double bedroom (1 x 180 cm wide bed). Small south-east facing double bedroom (140 cm wide sofa bed) with through access and steps to the sixth double bedroom faces south-east (single bed which transforms into an 180 cm wide double). The latter two bedrooms are more suited to children. Bathroom with twin sinks, over-bath shower and separate toilet.
The garden is well adapted for families with children, there are lawn space and swings to play on as well as a security fence around the pool which is ten metres long so you can enjoy a good swim. There are plenty of sun loungers for relaxing and you can dine outdoors and grill on the barbeque whilst taking in the amazing views of the wonderful countryside, the village and valley below and the wooded hills behind, in peace and quiet, with complete seclusion.
The local region has many attractions including the famous Pech Merle cave which is one of the few remaining where you can see original cave paintings. The rich wines of the historic riverside city of Cahors are produced in the area and you shouldn't miss a visit to Rocamadour. You can swim in the nearby river as well as enjoy pleasant walks and there are numerous excellent restaurants and gastronomic outdoor markets. Shops and restaurants in Luzech 3km.
