About this holiday rental

On the island of Sifnos, one of the conserved and most sought after pearls of the Cyclades, well away from the masses, between Athens and Heraklion, this magnificent property with private pool is set on a hillside overlooking the sea. Set in grounds which cover 8000 m², offering the occupants complete seclusion, an idyllic spot to enjoy the sun and indulge in an idyllic Greek island vacation. All the bedrooms have patios and overlook the sea and twelve distant Cyclades islands.

There are three patio areas for relaxing as well as a sun terrace, the swimming pool is 8 metres long. The decor is "vintage Greek" which combined with the dry stone walls combines beautifully with the modern comforts which include Italian style walk in showers, wi-fi internet, flat screen television (DVD only) and air conditioning in all the bedrooms.

The bedrooms are arranged around the central kitchen area, a central island, with a dining area for breakfast and dinners, covering an overall surface area of 220 m².

Bedroom Gaia
On the upper floor a double bedroom (1 x 180 cm wide bed) with hi-fi, dressing area and spacious bathroom. This bedroom connects with the Artémis bedroom.

Artemis bedroom
Also on the upper floor, a double bedroom (1 x 160 cm wide bed) and a bathroom. Connects with the Gaia bedroom.

Ouranos bedroom
On the intermediary floor, this room can be used as a living room or a double bedroom (1 x 160 cm wide bed) with television (DVD only) study area and sofa.

Athena bedroom
On the lower floor, a double bedroom (1 x 180 cm wide bed) and bathroom.

Hermes bedroom
Also on the lower floor, a double bedroom (1 x 140 cm wide bed) and bathroom.

This is a magical setting but not really suitable for small children as there are numerous terraces and drops down to the sea. BBQ not allowed unless you take the chef service which is 25€ per hour. We can arrange for you to be met on arrival on the island. Reserve you ferry from Athens (about 6 hours journey time).

NOTE - during your stay, the cleaner will come between 8h and 13h.

The price includes :

Property made available in good order and fully equipped. Local taxes, reasonable consumption of services including water, gas and electricity. Linen and towels provided (not including beach towels). Garden and swimming pool maintenance.

The price does not include :

Refundable cash deposit €2000 payable locally. Heating for the house. Additional services (where available) including cleaning, babysitting and cooking.

Depending on the country, region or city, you may (or may not) be asked to pay a tourist tax directly on site by the corresponding owner. The amount varies widely from country to country, from 1 euro per day per adult over 18, up to an amount that can vary from 1 to 10. These amounts are indicative and do not depend in any way on Villas du Monde.
