About this holiday rental

Stylish villa on the shores of Lake Maggiore with swimming pool (heatable at extra cost), and direct view on the lake, in the small town of Ispra.

Designed by a famous Milanese architect, Villa ISIDORA has been renovated and enlarged to comfortably accommodate up to 8/9 people in 4/5 rooms on several levels (400 sqm):
The entrance with a few steps down, leads to the living and dining room with large windows overlooking the lake and accessing the terrace with a magnificent view. There is a fully equipped kitchen and at the back an outdoor area with barbecue and wood-burning oven. A few steps up lead to the central living room, where you will also find a comfortable sitting area with sofas and a fireplace.
The upper level is the sleeping area with 2/3 air-conditioned bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with bathtub, one bedroom with a double bed, 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub and one with shower), and an optional bedroom with a single bed (see notes below).
On the lower level, you will pass through a children's area with TV and music, connected to a covered outdoor patio with fireplace, to the recently added extension.
In this newer part, you will find a very spacious suite with a kitchenette, table and chairs, desk, sofa and large TV, as well as a round double bed from which you can enjoy a stunning view of the pool and lake. There is also a bathroom with shower, steam bath and jacuzzi with full glass windows overlooking the lake. Finally, there is a bedroom with 2 single beds, a sauna and an en-suite bathroom with shower.

Outside there is a terraced garden with several grassy areas to sit and relax. The pool area includes an infinity pool (with a counter-current swimming system) surrounded by sun loungers and beds, an outdoor shower and a lovely flowered gazebo with sofas for dreaming while watching the boats go by. Down the stone steps you will reach a pebble beach for a refreshing dip in the lake.

Villa Isidora is situated in a quiet dead-end street, about 800 m from the centre of Ispra village, with a small number of shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a picturesque lakeside promenade, a marina, a small beach and lakeside bars. Six kilometres away is the charming village of Angera, where the historic castle "La Rocca" and the ferry to Arona are located. The villa is 15 km from the charming town of Laveno, where you can take a ferry to explore the wonders of Lake Maggiore (regular crossings to the Borromean Islands, Stresa and Verbania).

The single room is optional and is charged extra (between 300 euros and 400 euros per week depending on the period).
The swimming pool is oppen from mai to september.
Access to the lake and the size of the beach is very much dependent on the change in altitude of the water, it is not regularly cleaned so debris washes up on the shore. It is possible to swim in the lake.
Pets are not allowed.
No parties or events are allowed.

The price does not include :

Breaking Deposit to be paid by bank transfer to the owner (refundable): 2000 euro
Final cleaning + sheets and towels (obligatory): 400 euro
Gas and heating: meter at 1,60 euro/m³ (included the first 100 euro)
Electricity and air conditioning: meter at 0,66 euro/kw (included the first 100 euro)
Pool heating (on request): according to electricity consumption
Tourist tax if payable

Depending on the country, region or city, you may (or may not) be asked to pay a tourist tax directly on site by the corresponding owner. The amount varies widely from country to country, from 1 euro per day per adult over 18, up to an amount that can vary from 1 to 10. These amounts are indicative and do not depend in any way on Villas du Monde.
